Welcome! For this summer: 1) Please check both schedules for availability, as I’ll have more options open in Ballard some weeks; 2) Let me know if you’d like to be added to the waitlist as I often can get you scheduled sooner, if I know there is a need. I look forward to seeing you soon!

Therapeutic Bodywork

I use a blend of deep tissue, myofascial release and craniosacral techniques in these sessions. If you are seeking vigorous, full body deep tissue work, I recommend Keighli at Massage Reimagined, as I tend to use deep tissue techniques in more focused ways to facilitate the generally more gentle work I do. To learn a bit more about craniosacral, please see the description below, under "Craniosa... Read More

Craniosacral Therapy

Craniosacral therapy is a gentle way to support the central nervous system. Frequently, we are working with the bones and muscles of the head (including the jaw), neck, spine and sacrum. In nourishing and supporting more optimal central and peripheral nervous system function, we can support all the systems of the body. Intraoral Medical Massage

This form of treatment utilizes massage and craniosacral techniques inside the mouth to decrease tension in the muscles, the connective tissue and the bones of the head and jaw. I often use these techniques to address TMJD, tension headaches and migraines, teeth grinding/clenching, facial pain due to cranial nerve compression and chronic neck tension. I often use these techniques to address TMJD, tension headaches and migraines, teeth grinding/clenching, facial pain due to cranial nerve compression and chronic neck tension. Some clients seek it during periods of orthodontic work to ease discomfort and to support the work in progress. I wear non-latex gloves for intraoral work, and because this is a sensitive area for many folks for all sorts of reasons, I describe the techniques in detail before beginning and check in re: comfort frequently. There are also intraoral self care techniques that clients can perform at home that are really useful.

I am considered an out of network provider with all insurance plans. I collect payment at the time of service and provide you with a superbill receipt that you can use to seek reimbursement from your insurance plan. If we need less time, I charge per 15 minute increment. I use the insurance billing code (CPT) 97140 per 15 minute increment.

If you are seeking vigorous, full body deep tissue work, I recommend Keighli at Massage Reimagined (I tend to use deep tissue techniques in more focused ways to facilitate the generally more gentle work I do.). If you are looking for someone who is in network and direct bills insurance, I recommned the folks at Seattle Advanced Bodywork Associates. Post car accident care (Established clients only)

Massage and craniosacral can be very supportive therapies when healing from injuries sustained in a car accident. I do submit claims with no payment at the time of service if you have an open Personal Injury Protection (PIP) claim, at a rate of $40/15 minutes. By the time of your session, I do require 1) a current prescription for massage from an MD, DO, ARNP or DC who is overseeing your care... Read More

I do submit claims with no payment at the time of service if you have an open Personal Injury Protection (PIP) claim, at a rate of $40/15 minutes. By the time of your session, I do require 1) a current prescription for massage from an MD, DO, ARNP or DC who is overseeing your care for injuries sustained in the accident, and 2) all of your claim information, including the name and correct contact info of your current claims manager in order to hold a balance for you. Without one, I’d still love to work with you, but I’ll ask you to pay at the time of service and I can provide you with chart notes and a receipt you can use to seek reimbursement.

*I can still submit claims and documentation if you do not have a PIP claim or your claim is with USAA, but I will ask that you pay at the time of service and still require a current prescription/referral for massage. (My payment at the time of service rate is $120/hr or $30/15 minutes). This rate will be prorated if we need more or less time.

Therapeutic Bodywork for Kids and Teens

My intention with these flexible sessions is to give young people a space to experience massage and treatment work that really honors their sovereignty. (This is also how I approach sessions with adults; the discussion with kids and teens is more direct and ongoing throughout our early sessions.) They can be fully clothed or undressed and draped to their level of comfort, and therapeutic techniques are chosen/tailored to support what feels comfortable and enjoyable. A caregiver is welcome to be in the treatment room, too (with the consent of young people 13 and up).
